Wellbeing is the ability to remain physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially fit. It is not an absence of illness but rather a continued effort to create good mental health. Choosing discipline over immediate pleasure requires continuous effort and through that one can achieve wellbeing.

Creating wellness is important especially in times when we are faced with challenges and adversities. It is one’s mental fitness that creates resilience in individuals.  Taking a longitudinal approach towards one’s wellbeing could look like developing mindfulness in daily activities, relationships, and movement. There are several mindfulness activities that can be learned and developed to nourish your mental health and wellbeing. There are several benefits to creating wellness in your daily life like improved physical health, mental clarity, productive days and an overall increase in general life satisfaction.
